nhs esr nhs esr In May 2007, CRM implemented a CIS system within the ESR project which holds details of all NHS trusts that are live with the ESR solution. The system which is a customized version of CRM’s InTouch application is used by over 80 separate users each of whom access the system to store trust and contact information.

The system enables customer facing teams to easily record trust status with ESR, meetings and key events held as well as reporting on issues and risks. The headoffice team also use the system to collate all of the information presented by the regional teams so reducing the time spent managing spreadsheets and entering information in manually. They do this through an easy to use reports tool which allows all of the different 100 data fields and records to be reported and classified against the 500 or so organisations that exist on the system.

CRM have provided the initial system and also offer a support contract to ensure help and assistance is provided in business hours for users. The system is well liked by the management and its users and plans for further development of the application is taking place to drive further efficiencies and reporting.

'Using the Bespoke version of InTouch which CRM customised for us has eliminated a lot of paperwork and allows us to centrally pool our information and keep track of various processes from multiple NHS Trusts.'

Jim O'Connell - Ex Programme Director - ESR
