Dave Groves works as a Systems Developer for CRM. He has been involved in development for about 20 years, working for companies such as IBM and Avon and Somerset Police. Dave is married and has two daughters. He likes to keep busy building bits and bobs in the garden (sheds, ponds, decks, etc...) and by walking and running. He enjoys watching films and documentaries as well as listening to music. We asked him:

Why did you join CRM?
I joined CRM because they are a local company and, having been born and brought up in Weston-super-Mare, it was too good an opportunity to miss. It gives me much more flexibility in my work/personal life and reduces my carbon count. It also gives me the opportunity to use my skills to hopefully move a local company forward.

What is your favourite possession?
My favourite possesion (excluding my family obviously) is my chickens! I recently got 3 chickens for my garden and they are such brilliant characters to have around. Never short of laughs!

What is your biggest fear?
I don't really have any fears although I'm not a big fan of rodents. My daughter has a hamster and although it's cute, it still scares me a bit.

What is your biggest vice in life?
My biggest vice in life is probably that I like things to be tidy, it drives my wife up the wall. My daughter also says I waffle if I've had a couple of drinks, she may have a point!

Where is your dream holiday destination and why?
My dream holiday would be somewhere relaxing. I've always liked the idea of a log cabin, in a woods, by a lake .. perhaps in Italy somewhere.
